Additional Data charges to BIS on a Blackberry

There is something that I had not been aware of on my smartphone, reason being I don't make a lot of calls and I purchased one to enjoy the internet services and social networks. Recently I discovered that in addition to the BIS that I load each month, my prepaid account is still being billed for data charges. I tried resolving the matter with Vodacom having spent at least 2 hours on Saturday with different consultants from their call centre until a query was logged for one of the technical guys to assist me on Monday.
I was very surprised when the guy called to tell me that he has no idea why my account is being charged and there is no way in which he can find out, he made several speculations of which I denied could be the cause and then he could not give me a straight answer.
This has been very disappointing to say the least as now I do not know when this will stop and how to resolve this also my phone is still working well without airtime now because I do not see the reason for loading airtime if I'm going to be erroneously billed for no reason.
