Fair warning to telkom ADSL users. TELKOM DOES NOT CARE. I pay nearly a thousand rand a month for my adsl 4mbps, and wanting to upgrade is nearly impossible considering i work until 6pm and they require someone to be at the router to reset it. worse even is their upgrade services ONLY WORK UNTIL 6PM AND NOT OVER WEEKENDS!! They run the biggest ISP in the country and cant even cater for people after hours?!?!
I have been on the phone for the upteenth time these past 2 weeks trying to upgrade and today have been on the line for an hour and after the 5th service desk operator just to be told to phone back during the day between 8am and 6pm. Some LAZY operator told by wife their service runs until 12pm weekdays.
Really pathetic service for what i pay
