MTN, I am receiving receiving calls from a landline number (031-831 4800/4000) and there is no one trying to speak to me, so it's suspected to be hackers trying to get hold of me SIM card details, etc. I phoned you on Monday (9/09/13) on 2 occasions to ask for help in this matter. I have already blocked the number on my phone (Samsung S3 Mini), but they keep on getting true. Please let someone look into the matter. You have referred me to SAPS, I was there on Monday (9/09/13; Bellville branch) and the said they can't help. They tried calling the number and it shows that it doesn't exist. I was referred back to MTN. I have also asked Telkom Technical to check on the number and they also indicated that its an unknown number.
So what am I as the customer supposed to do when no one is able to help me. My credit card at Standard bank was stopped last week, since they suspected. So clearly, some hi-tech criminals are onto me here.
What I'm I suppose to do? Why did we do RICA when clearly it's not helping in my situation?
I need your help please!!!
