I have recently changed my cellphone number, my old contract ends at the end of this month. I have been three times to the local Standard Branch and changed the number, in addition I have phoned once from the branch and twice from home to the head office card division, every time I am told it has been changed, but it hasn't! This morning I registered for a new Standard Bank Card service and was told that the number I have given is not a cell phone number. The number commences thus: 061 010 this a new CellC number and definitely is a valid cell phone number. Please Standard Bank sort this matter out, it is important, wake up!
