FALSE ADVERTISING OF FIELD STAFF

During July my husband and I were practically forced by your field staff, in ATHLONE, who were standing in groups of about ten to take sim cards. In return we were promised a R29 airtime free on a monthly basis. We told them that we already had vodacom numbers but they were so insistent with words like, "Don't you want something for free??? " and so on. After watching many people taking sim cards, I eventually gave in and bought two. We each had to give R29 so that the numbers could be rica'd and I got a R29 airtime on my number and my husband got a R22 airtime on his, even though he'd given the guy R29. The vodacom team, were full of promises none of which has materialised. To date no "free" airtime was received by neither I nor my husband. And I feel that as we were forced by your staff to take those sim cards, you should keep your side of the bargain. Lots of people were taking sim cards with the hope of getting the allegedly "free" airtime that was promised, but obviously there was never any intention of giving it to anyone. It was just a marketing ploy to get more people to change their service provider. The numbers we were allocated are 076-5264702 and 071-1611851.
