On Saterday me and my husband were passing by Bethlem on our way to Fouriesburg, we decided to buy some grocery for were we are going, We went into Metropolitan centre Pick n Pay. We procceded to buy and was approached by Vodacom promoters wearing vodacom gear. They told us they promoting the 29 rand free airtime evry month sim cards for vodacom. The sim costs 29rand and is already Ricad. I asked them why do we have to pay to them not the tills and they informed us that Pick n Pay was just hosting them. they gave my husband the sim and actually loaded the 29 rand airtime for him and advised that every month for 12 months he will get 29 rand free airtime. wasnt the store manager supposed to get authority from vodacom if this was ligimate and also what i know id when the is a promotion in a super market you pay at the till, How many people were ripped off on saterday by these people? Can you let people sell sim cards that are already Ricad () in the your shop? Please next time make sure that you allow promoters not in your store. Vodacom does not know off this promotion all that hapens is you buy the sim for 3rand or less you get free airtime for that persiod only.
