After doing much checking and comparisons, I decided to move my ISP to Afrihost as well as have them manage my line.
In the month that I have been an Afrhost client, I have to call them several times a week to have them check my line. I then have to follow the usual annoying process of restarting router while they reset my ports. Same thing every time. I cant understand why this is the case. I get 0.4 Mbps on a 4.0 Mbps line and a ping of 250ms! Ludicrous.
To top it off, there call centre is constantly busy and they don't respond promptly to the 'help' feature.
They quick to blame Telkom, but I didn't have such issues before.
I expect to be billed for the linespeed I'm getting and not the 4.0 Mbps which I would like to have,
I am regretting moving to Afrihost.
