I've received numerous sms'es from Vodacom (Polokwane - although I've lived in Mossel Bay for more than 6 years and have done my last three upgrades in Mossel Bay) reminding me that I am due for an upgrade.
I've phoned them to order my new phone (iPhone 5 which they didn't have in stock) and I've been to their shop three times in the last three weeks to follow up - because no one there bothers to phone me back although they promise to do so.
I've now been waiting more than 3 weeks for my new phone to arrive. Had I ordered a new phone from Apple in California, it would only take max 5 working days. How is it possible that a large company like Vodacom take more than 3 weeks to have a phone delivered - and I know that I am not the only one waiting for an iPhone. My friend has also been waiting for a couple weeks for hers.
Please could someone let me know what the delay is. To wait for Vodacom to phone me back is obviously an exercise in futility.
