I was robbed of my cell phone on 7 September. Unfortunately I had recently upgraded my contract but did not insure my phone. I have another contract with MTN and the upgrade is due on 1 October. After numerous calls to MTN corporate I was unable to get them to assist me by providing me with an early upgrade. I have been an MTN customer for more than 10 years, I have never missed a payment and spend at least R1500 per month with them. One would think that they would be willing to assist a customer.
