I have recently cancelled one of my contracts with MTN and cannot wait for my other business contract with MTN to expire.

I have had service from both MTN business liason as well as MTN call centres.

I spoke to Lerato at MTN on 808 porting division and she promised that a manager would call me back regarding my complaint that day. She refused to let me speak to any other person in authority and offered to let me speak to her colleage??? Why would she offer something as ridiculous as that???

I have left MTN and moved to Cell C, I now have 1 contract and 1 prepaid cell with them and will be moving my existing contract over to Cell C mid 2013.

Conclusion: MTN is SA's worst mobile service provider. Do not make the mistake of signing up with them.
