Vodacom Cheats its Customers

I have had a contract with Vodacom which lapsed in June. I then decided to go convert to prepaid instead of signing a new contract.

On 07/09/13, I went to the Vodacom Customer Care store in Menlyn, sat down with a consultant by the name of James to perform the switch. He informed me that the 80 min left on my contract will be forfeited at midnight but my BIS, which was an add-on to the original contract would remain. My sim had no connection for about 3-4 hours and when it eventually came on, I had no minutes, no BIS that were promised. I immediately called the store and no one answered, I phoned the other store and I was informed that customer care does not answer the phone.

Annoyed already, I went back to the store on 08/09/2013, asked for James who now turned his story completely around stating that he told me that I would forfeit everything immediately and proceeded disrespect me and call me a in front of the manager, Cassandra.

My biggest mistake was to believe that what I am discussing with James was what I signed for. I have been harassed by Vodacom's so called subsidiaries selling me phones on a daily but never cheated, disrespected and called a by Vodacom.
