Profile not updated from old to new contract

On 22/06/2013 I went to upgrade my cellphone contract at Metro. I upgraded from a EveryDay Off-peak 120 contract to a Smart S contract (BlackBerry to Samsung Galaxy SIII). Vodacom never updated my profile from the old to the new contract, which means all the data, sms and phone calls I made was invoiced extra, but the Smart S contract gives me 200mb, 200 sms and 200 anytime minutes a month. Vodacom blocked my cellphone account because I have reached my limit, which is also due to the fact that they did not update my profile. I phoned Vodacom customer care and explained my situation, they said they can only unblock my account if I paid the amount outstanding. I paid R 500.00 and sent threw the proof of payment as requested, they unblocked my account but blocked it again the next day, and so it went on for at least a week. I phoned Vodacom again and asked to talk to a manager, eventually they put me threw to a manager, I explained my situation to her but according to her because my account is a gap account Vodacom could not update my profile. They sent me a sms saying they were going to refund me, but the end of August they debited R 822.00 from my account. Vodacom is no help???
