Delivery the next day great, and activation???

Vodacom has made upgrading and new contracts a breeze these days one call your order is placed and, delivery is as soon as they have stock, which is all fine. Now how do we active this phone. When the order was placed the contact person said the number was free to open a new account which is why we went with vodacom, if it was not free we just would have gone to another service provider. It's been 5 days now and basically I have a really expensive paper weight cause vodacom still have not been able to activate the phone, we have phoned tweeted at vodacom, everyone promises to fix it but still nothing. I finally get through to a lady today she says the number has not been on prepaid for 6 months and that is why they have to wait for IT to fix the number, or something. This was not the problem when vodacom wanted a sale!!! On top of that there is apparently no supervisors on duty, she could not give me a reference number, so next time I have to tell my whole story again.

So vodacom, thanks for wasting my time, and for the iPhone paper weight!
