Unable to meet contract Delivery

I signed for an upgrade on my contract which had expired. The new contract for an I Phone 5 was signed on the 28/08/2013. I was assured that the service would be operational between 2-24 hours. However despite me revisiting the Fourway's Mall branch to complain, my phone is still not active. I would like to know the process to cancel the contract and migrate to Vodacom.
