Earlier this year I amended my email address - I duly notified MTN and updated my details. Subsequent to that I have not received one invoice or statement despite repeated requests to please ensure that they are sent on a monthly basis and that I may receive the back dated invoices as well.
This month I had over R 3 000.00 deducted from my account with no notification or invoice. When i called to follow up there seems to be some "confusion" with regards to the package that my 3G device is on. For 3 years I have not utilised more than 2 g of data per month - suddenly in two months I have now used R 8 000.00. Beyond this not ringing alarm bells!!! - the package that I am on is supposidely meant to cut off with manual top up after 2 gigs. How is it possible that there is such an exorbitant charge to me?
It would be good if i could get an invoice to review or representative to assist!
Having been a customer since 1998 and having kept the same # and been loyal to MTN spending a minimum of R 12 000.00 per year - perhaps it is time to look around and see what other offers are avaliable to me from a company that does offer service to their long standing customers.
