Took out a contract for 2 G of Data to use on a new ipad @ R89.00 per month. The first month we never received an invoice or statement but R214.48 was deducted from my bank account. We thought it was excessive but accepted it. The second month we still received no invoice or statement and an amount of R487.50 was deducted from my bank account. On querying it they e-mailed me a snap shot of an invoice but all it shows is the single charge. Nobody can give me a breakdown of what I am being charged for. The ipad only registers that 2.5 gigs of data has been used since we got it, yet mweb can not give us any details of how they get to the amounts they deduct. They also promise to get back to you with info but never do. They also operate on a very closed door policy in that they will not give you any managers names or even their own contact no.'s so every time you phone you have to spend at least 15-20 min. trying to get hold of the person. Am I sorry that we ever started dealing with mweb and this to save a meager R10 per month. I am sure it is not legal what they are doing???
