I am an existing Vodacom customer. I have been RICA'd.
I wanted to purchase a Wi Fi device from the store in Stellenbosch Square.
This is the 4th time I've walked into the store. on the other 3 occasions all consultants where too busy on the phone to help me so I left.
This time however someone did assist me. I told her I am an existing client and want to purchase said device.
I was told I need an ID book (Fair enough) and proof of residence. I am an existing client in good standing. You have my details.. why would I need to reproduce them? Obviously I didn't have the documents so I left the store.
On returning to the office I purchased the same device from the website. No proof of residence required. why?. because I am an existing client who you have already RICA'd. Suggest you train the "Consultants" in your stores.
