On Friday 30/08/2013 I received a call notifying me that my new Blackberry Z10 is ready for collection at the MTN store in Southgate, I went on Friday and requested that Pam (consultant assisting me) update the latest software as it requires wifi. I was forced to return following day, arrived at 9:00 explained that this was not done. She said MTN doesn't have wifi available in store so they usually use KFC's wifi to connect customers. She had a few failed attempts at downloading the software which is version 10.1.0.4181Not once did I receive an apology or some empathy in this regard. I went down to the MTN shop at entrance 1, now 2hours 30min later where the software was eventually downloaded and successfully installed at about 13:30 it is unfortunate that I had to waste my entire morning and it was a very unpleasant experience. I also find it unusual that a cell phone shop does not have wifi available to connect customers. It would help if common sense is used because if it was discovered that KFC capped its wifi at 200megabites vs a download that requires 2gigabites, then my time would not have been wasted and a solution could have been found much sooner.
