MTN REFUSE TO ACCEPT LEGAL ID

I wanted to upgrade 1 of about 6 MTN contracts this morning, after having chosen a phone previously and confirming it was in stock I went with my son to upgrade the contract and get the new phone. Only to be told by the MTN service staff that my drivers licence was not acceptable and that they would not do my upgrade without my Green ID Book. The reason, MTN syas that there is too much with drivers licences. I was annoyed and told her that she must cancell my contract as my money was good enough to take all these years but my licence not! She then proceeded to inform the shop that I needed to give written notice etc etc.o MTN, now you lose a loyal customer who will take my premi-cell and other business phones elsewhere as well. Strange that you accept cash with all the conterfeit cash around, cloned and credit cards, forged ID books. Well I have all the geniuine articles and if my drivers licence is not good enough then neither am I. I am sick of companies deciding what form of leagal SA Goverment approved documents are acceptable and when, I am legal DEAL WITH IT!
