Highly disappointed once again. How do you CLAIM to accept RCS and make it such a mission to accept. A legal, green, barcoded ID book all of a sudden is not acceptable in your store, apparently a drivers license is now required along with this document. what nonsense is this?? apparently it is required to verify the signature, my question is how on earth do u verify a signature even before a transaction is even concluded. you get surrounded in the store by staff who blatantly refuse to do anything without the license, but will rather treat you as a potential, does not matter that you are in the store every single afternoon. just by the way Pick n Pay, there are more South Africans with ID books than there are with a VALID drivers license. in store there are no exceptions, but after the help line is contacted then only do the admissions come out that the PROPER procedures were not followed and that they really do apologise for the treatment received because the proper procedure was not followed from their side. I will contact RCS to see what procedure is set out for pick n pay to follow should one of their customers use their LEGAL cards in a pick n pay store.
