Two months ago I changed from CellC to MTN as they have better signal at the airport. I took a deal with the S4 that works well for my business com needs. Imagine my shock when I received my first bill and a R3000.00 charge for packet switched data. I phoned the lady that sold me the contract at Greenstone and she could not tell me what packet switched data is. I took some advise from friends and switched off some applications. Last week when I checked my bill on MTN active there is a charge of R2200.00 for packet switched data! Phoned the call centre and the only advise they could give me is to switch off my data, wonder how I'm supposed to do business like that. I can't afford this contract this is ridiculous! Seems the bad signal from CellC was the least of my problems, if I only knew what was waiting for me when I change to MTN I would have never ever ever considered it. Very expensive network, the call centre is not helpful and the after sales service is non existent!!! In two months I paid over R5000 for packet switched data... can you afford it?
