After running into unforeseen financial difficulties, my boyfriend was left with no other option than to cancel his Mtn Tablet contract
When he phoned to inquire what the procedure will be to cancel the agreement, he was met with the most shockingly poor service ever! He was told by 2 Mtn branches to phone 808 & clearly state that he wanted to give the tablet back on cancellation. He did so & was told that he must buy the contract out &all sorts of other ridiculous things. The settlement amount was so high that he is not able to afford to cancel the agreement.
As I am in the legal profession & deal with the CPA daily I told him that I will call them. Unhelpful to say the least, I asked them to transfer me to the legal department as I had phoned in my professional capacity. They however did not transfer me& instead I had to deal with a Steven who was utterly rude, unhelpful, shouted at me&refused to answer my query. When my boyfriend took the phone & gave Steven his details, Steven said he cannot help because he doesn't know who he's dealing with. We then asked for the manager and after holding for over 5 min we put the phone down! Clearly they have never read the CPA!!! So disgusted
