I bought R60 airtime and received an sms from Vodacom saying that if I paid R15 i would get 300 free minutes to use over the next ten days between 16:00 and 18:59. I then followed the intrsuctions and it took R15 of my airtime. When i phoned someone at 17:59, on the same day i paid the R15 for the promotion, i only had 15c of artime and the call lasted 7mins17secs before it cut off and when i dialed again it said i did not have enough airtime. I then bought R5 to see if maybe it required you to have some airtime before you used the free minutes, but it still took my airtime. I went onto the website to see the terms and conditions and saw that I was eligible for the promotion so i do not understand why it did no work. I tried the following day thinking perhaps it needed time to actvate, but it still did not work. I am very disappointed by this. I thought it might be too good to be true, but figured since this is a Vodacom thing it would be legit. Clearly not.
