Pathetic Service First Interaction with MWe

I purchased an ADSL bundle through MWeb 10 days ago & was told that Telkom would need to split the line before they could activate. Monday this week my router was delivered & Tuesday afternoon I received an sms stating my order was complete &I could contact technical department if I needed assistance to set up account.

After an hour trying, I called the tech department. The call lasted about 20 min & I got cut off. I called back & spoke to a sarcastic, abrupt agent who had the cheek to tell me that if I`d given him the user name at the start we wouldn`t have gone on a wild goose chase, but he was the one asking the questions.

2 days later, after making a number of calls & being told a number of different excuses for the line not being operational, I have now been told a fault has been logged with Telkom and this could take up to 10 days to be sorted.

I tried avoiding Telkom like a plague as they are notorious for pathetic service, but it seems MWeb service ability is just as pathetic. All the good agents are on their sales teams, but once you sign on that dotted line BEWARE... you are in for sub standard service and attitude.

Within cooling off period & would rather cancel!
