I have recently moved to the cell c service provider after having made sure with the call centre, the cell c shop and online that i would have reception and data connection in all my most travelled areas in Johannesburg.
After switching i have almost no signal in most of the areas, having to switch of my 3g data connection just to make phone calls. This still does not work as i keep having my calls cut off midway and having to phone back.
I have logged all the necessary calls and service requests and sent all the necessary documents and the only answer i get is" your matter has been escalated". Never mind that this was first done 2 weeks back.
It doesn't help to escalate a matter and leave it untouched while i lose money as my phone is used extensively for business.
So yes cell c your rates are cheaper but it doesn't help because half the time you cant use the services and the other half i find im having to call clients back.
This is terrible service. Even worse than vodacom, who i moved from because i was fed up with them.
