And so Vodacom finally advised me that my BB 9320 will be replaced with a new one. I collected it yesterday 28/08/2013. The consultant insisted that it was a new phone despite the fact that I had not received the phone in a box. Apparently this new phone did not come with a 2 year warranty. My warranty period would continue from the previous one so I had in fact only 1 year and 4 months left on the warranty. When I got home I took out the battery and put the sim card in and discovered that it has REFURBISHED sticker on the inside. So this is in fact not a new phone as claimed. Since yesterday the so called new phone has rebooted itself twice frozen on 3 occasions, does not ring (no sound) so now I'm missing calls. I have a business to run you know and at the moment now its frozen again. What the. I'm sorry I will not settle for a waiting period or REFURBISHED phones. Vodacom should replace this with a NEW PHONE SEALED IN A BOX or I'm taking this to the NATIONAL CONSUMER OMBUDSMAN.
