7 day out of box warranty

It is with disgrace that I write this comment. That 7 day warranty policy of vodacom is such a bag of!! You get there and you have to go through the terrible way of how the staff treat you just to find out that you have to book in the phone and you have to wait between 7 to 14 working days before you would know what is happening with the phone. When you phone the repairs customer service line, they are the people to inform you that the phone has to go to the head office, which I was under the impression is at Vodaworld for further assessments. This takes about 2 days to reach the head office which is not even far from vodaworld. Then they inform you that there is a possibility that the phone might not be replaced even though in is in the 7 day warranty period. Is this the kind of service we have to pay for??? I am really not impressed with the fact that the type of handset that I handed in yesterday is one of which is using a micro sim and that the vodacom shop within vodaworld told me that there will be no phone for me to lend in this period. They are not even aware that all the previous phones comes with normal simcards.
