CELL C IN BREACH OF CUSTOMER PROTECTION ACT

I am utterly disgusted the the continued decline in the quality of service I am receiving from Cell C. I took out a contract with the service provider in June 2012 and in the past three months my phone has become completely redundant as a result of my inability to get signal. I live and work in a 10 minute proximity to the Johannesburg CBD which I feel should be an area of priority coverage and I have not been able to retain a call for longer than 5 minutes in the past 3 weeks. This is having a crippling effect on my ability to conduct business as well as my personal affairs.

In addition my 'EDGE' connection is down more than 50% of the time. Cell C recently informed me that my BIS data will be capped at 2 mb as of the 29 August and I found this laughable as I do not have sufficient service to utilize 2 mb in a month as things currently stand. I have been forced to purchase a VODACOM pre-paid sim and hand set so that I am able to remain in contact in the event of an emergency. South Africans are paying for a service which Cell C cannot deliver! it is my belief that I should have the right to cancel this contract due to breach on their part.
