I have a contract with Cell C for R329 per month. Suddenly for the past 2 months I have been bill more than R500. Over the past 2 months I overpaid by R247.69. After enquiries at the local branch I was informed that I paid for Opera(?) in the amount of R5.27 per day. I was given a number to call and cancel something that I never started in the first place. It is clear that Cell C does not protect its customers against transactions. I was never informed or consulted and it makes me wonder if Cell C is not part of this. I also see this as a breach of contract as this was never agreed upon. I will take this matter up with legal advice. I also have a Vodacom line and up to now this has never happened. I do not trust Cell C anymore.
