Needs to blacklist a cellphone but Vodacom cannot

I have a cellphne contract with vodacom, lately i upgraded and gave the cellphone (blackberry) to my daughter. She was mugged and i contacted vodacom to blacklist the phone not the sim card, as she used a Cell C sim card. I spoke to the call agent who refused to blacklist the cellphone and said i must phone Cell C, and i requested to speak to a supervisor he promised that they will contact me within an hour, but they did not. I then send an email complaining, the next day a supervisor phoned stating we can do it through verification. On their system it showed 4 EMI numbers and i requested the supervisor to phone me the next day to give her the existing EMI that am currently using (not to be stopped) and can stop the other 3, she was going on leave but will give the case to another supervisor. The new supervisor phoned me and told me that he did find out i only need to blacklist the phone with Cell C. Vodacom cannot help me as i inserted the cell Cell C sim card. Honestly i only wanted to blacklist the cellphone not to engage in brand politics. I phone Cell C, they said they can if i can give them the EMI numbers which i dont have. Vodacom need to help in curbing the cellphone crime.
