A few months ago I noticed a steep decline in my internet speed.
I reported it to Vodacom who sent out a technical specialist to my home to measure the signal. It was definitely close to non-existent. They started an investigation, going as far as involving ICASA, due to them picking up illegal bandwith muggers in the area, which was out of their control.
Never the less, after a while, and not getting any joy from ICASA, they showed up at my house and installed the mother of all antennas and a wifi router :-). I now have near perfect internet signal.
Thanks so much for the continued efforts of the people at Vodacom. It showed me that there truly are still a few companies in South Africa that acts with integrity and stands by its promises.
