Im still being billed

On the 23rd July 2013 I called the MTN customer care (0831808) I spoke to Jabulile Ntshalintshali to cancel my contract with MTN that ended on the 22nd July 2013 already. Jabulile sent me an email to cancel and migrate my number to pre-paid, of which I completed and sent it back to her on the 24th July 2013. Today I get a billing for R659.98 and my normal monthly bill is R298.00. I called the Customer Care again today and spoke with Lerato Mabilo she told me that Jabulile is not in and I must resend the form to her, I did then she could only tell me the debit has already been scheduled and no explanation of the amount that's stated on the statement received today and still no explanation of why wasn't it cancelled last month already.
