MTN does not consider the urgency of a matte

My boyfriend is in USA since Sunday the 20th of Feb 2013 and he called MTN call centre before he left to ensure that his roaming was activated. the consultant confirmed that it was activated, however when my boyfriend arrived in New York his phone did not have roaming and he tried endless times to contact a call centre number to find out what he can do. the number 0831808 does not work, my telkom line, my vodacom phone or from a MTN number itself!!

i finally got hold of a consultant through some other MTN number and the lady Ofense could log an incident however it would 24- 48 hours to take action... i explained the urgency of the matter, but she didnt care and said that was what she could do. she did nto give me a reference number!!
