My Call Waiting on my account has not worked for four months. Whenever I call in, I am told that it has been re-activated, but it hasn't. I then reported it online.
I called in again yesterday, the 22nd January 2013, and was told that my line wasn't available, so I couldn't be calling from it. I assured them that I was indeed calling from that line, and they then told me that the line had been allocated as an Equipment Spare, so they couldn't access it to re-activate the Call Waiting. However, they promised to attend to it, and assured me that it would be working by later that day.
I called today, and was told, after 24 minutes on the line, that my Call Waiting was indeed activated - but not working. I was told to deactivate it by dialing #43# and then re-activate it again by pushing *43# . I was then to get back to them if it didn't work, which it didn't.
I called 10210 three times, and was cut off directly after being told "Please wait while your call is being transferred". I have wasted hours and days on these calls to Telkom over the four month period, and am in exactly the same position as I was four months ago. Please get my Call Waiting working again!
