Monhtly subscription not according to quote

I had a casual chat 100 contract for R150pm. R135pm for subscription, R15pm for handset fee.

7 months later my monthly expenses was pushing me and I decided that I need to lower my Cell C contract cost. I asked customer Service for a quotation to migrate my package from the casual chat to a top up straight up 50. I received the quotation and it stated that it would cost me R749 once off fee and that the remainder of the contract term would stay the same. Nothing else!!

Gave the go ahead but if there is any additional costs, they must let me know before they do the migration.

Migration was done on the same day and I was happy, because my objective to lower costs was met.

Then came my first account. My monthly premium didn't go down, it actually went up from R150 to R225. I was baffled. The quotation never said my premium would go up. Asked Cell C and a employee came back and told me that it went up due to the handset that was on the contract and that it needed to be charged.

Why was this not included in the original quote and why wasn't I contacted before the migration was done as I requested. Have all emails to proof the above.
