I have had my cell phone contract with MTN since 1998, my first cell phone contract was with MTN. My contract expired in April this year, and I have received numerous phone calls from MTN to advise my contract is up for re-newal. Every consultant that called me was asked by me "Why should I continue to use MTN when Cell C are offering better rates? what can MTN do for me, why should I stay with MTN", only one consultant from MTN gave me a reason... Ernest, he was fantastic. He followed up with me consistentlly, and was a pleasure to deal with. He did have to escalate my request to Management, which he did and he reverted with a positive response. I have since received my new phone, signed my new contract and will remain a loyal customer to MTN. Well Done Ernest, you are worth you weight in gold to MTN, as you know and understand what Customer Service is all about.
