I settled my Cell C account on the 25th of July 2013 with the view of taking up a higher package. Little did I know the experience I would be going through. Firstly, the lady I spoke to said that the payment will reflect on their side after 2 working days and that I should call after to request that the term on my account be update. In earnest I called on Monday and confirmed that the payment had been received and request that my term be updated. The gentleman I spoke to assured me that it will be done that afternoon and he will call me the following day to help me with the application of the new package but no call came through.

The whole week was marred by empty promise after empty promise till my account was updated the following week. I successfully applied for a new package and on the 13/08/13 was delivered to me. I called 084145 to activate the line and all details were taken and i was told my new sim will be active in 2 hours. Little did I know that the same empty promises would return and spit in my face. Today, 15/08/13, my sim is still not activated. I asked Cell C to come get their device and cancel my contract as i cannot be given excuses each time.
