I have been with Mtn on a contract for the last 30 month. I recently decided to move my number to Vodacom because of the good per second deals they have. I gave Mtn 30 days notice in terms of the contract termination and they tell me that I may still not port my number for 3 months. The moral of the story guys is don't go with Mtn, they're the most expensive network as well as make you life when trying to port you number to other operators. Huge inconvenience Mtn!!! You have just lost a customer forever...
