Telkom is probably the worst company in the world. How anyone can associate themselves with Telkom is beyond me.

I have had a down line for about a month. Telkom promised that they will respond however closed all the technical faults saying in was corrected. They however never attended to the problem to start with. I complained and complained until they send out another repairer. At last after the months problems my service was restored, only for me to now realise that Telkom is billing me for calls from someone else profile. I do have a Telkom phone however have never made a call from the phone since the phone was installed as I never use it. I therefore know that it was impossible for me to make calls locally right through the day and at night while I'm usually working. It's clearly a case of Telkoms inability to provide a service. I have been overcharged by about R160 - on my telephone bill. I have requested feedback from Telkom, however received nothing, no call, no response on queries, none.

I have decided that I probably will cancel with Telkom as soon as I have another service provider.
