I have been a Neotel customer for 6 years and have always paid R99 a month for my line. In May I went into the Neotel store in Cedar Square to replace my faulty handset. The lady who helped me informed me that I had two Neotel lines and I asked her to please cancel the one as I had never used it. Since then however I have been billed for TWO lines with my account coming in at R149 a month. I contacted Tshidiso to explain my concern and he instructed me to send an e-mail to cancel the second line. I duly did so and received a message saying I would receive feedback in 48 hours. That was 6 days ago. I e-mailed Tshidiso again on Tuesday 6th August to let him know nothing had happened and again had no response. Clearly no-one takes any responsibility at Neotel, no-one takes any action and no-one has the courtesy to respond to an e-mail! Why have I been billed for a line that was cancelled in May and why was I never billed for it before but all of a sudden now I am?
And last of all - why does it take more than 5 minutes to generate a reference number for a call?
