Nashua Mobile
Double Standards

Earlier this year Nashua Mobile confirmed that they had overcharged my with about R4500 and credited the amount to my account (for which I am of course very thankful). As my monthly usage amounts to between R600 and R1000 per month, it took about 5 months for Nashua to offset my monthly bill against the amount that they owed me. m

Now during this time, obviously no debit order could be processed and I assume Nashua cancelled it from their side, not my fault.

My complaint is about the sms I received today: "Dear Nashua Mobile Customer, your account is in arrears and as a result, your line will be suspended."

My reply:

Dear Nashua, your attitude is just wrong. My account isn't in arrears, the current amount due is R600 odd, which you didn't deduct via the arranged debit order and that I would gladly pay via EFT.

Why not just ask me to pay, explaining that you forgot to process the debit order. And WHY is it perfectly ok if you owe my money (R4500) and then take 5 months to repay me, but if I owe you R600 for 5 days, you suspend my line??? Double standards poor poor poor customer service.

I am disappointed.
