MTN micro sim cards

I am struggling to get my micro sim card activated, Everyday I am being tranfered from agent to agent, telling me that its Rica or that the sim card is not registered on the network. How does Mtn give out contract phones/sim if they do not register the contract sim on the network. I am very dissapointed with the service that we receive from MTN... Can someone please provide me with a way forward, because everyday I look at my phone saying ''emergecy calls only''
