I have been trying for the last few weeks to RICA Vodacom prepaid cards through our local branch. You buy the card, RICA register it then even weeks afterwards the card is NOT rica registered, i.e. you cant use the card as the electronic operator says sorry your card is not rica registered.
This seems to be a ongoing problem for year. Staff at PEP are not able to escalate the problem but basically no-one can RICA register their Vodacom cards and even on occasion their MTN cards. Should I just boycott PEP or Vodacom? How long does it take for a large corporation to fix a simple problem? How many clients will even bother joining Vodacom if they RICA register then be constantly told that you NOT! Just throw the SIM cards away?
