I ordered a laptop and dongle on line this Friday evening past 2 August. received an SMS saying it had been approved and giving me a reference number and telling me |I would receive an email to complete the order. No mail was received. I have spent over 2 hours on the phone to Vodacom today trying to resolve this. I have been met with indifference, asked to call other wrong numbers, promised to be called back but, of course, nothing has happened. Their new trick is to put you back to an IVR that says "press 2 for an update on your order" but you can press 2 as much as you like and it doesn't work. It then asks you to participate in an on line service survey. Let me make myself clear. HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT STILL HAS TO BE DONE TO GET MY ORDER FULFILLED? Is that clear enough? No pushing 1 or 2 on my keypad, just plain English. They should mp[ a law that says companies as hopeless as this should be shut down. BTW, I have also been a customer of good standing with Vodacom for about 10 years. Their attitude towards their clients beggars belief.
