Since Dec 2012 until July 2013, I have been sending sms's to Unipin to receive my code for loading electricity, I encountered NO problems. On 3 Aug 2013 @ 10:00pm I tried sending an SMS to Unipin for my code & I am told I need to Topup airtime. I checked my balance & I had 1:18 free minutes &148 sms's free, but I could not send a sms to Unipin. I contacted the Customer Centre & spoke to Thami & I was told that I need to load airtime, I was absolutely livid, I never had this problem before & the ONLY time I loaded airtime was in June 2013, & the fact that I have 148 sms's available I am denied to send an sms, this is absolutely ridiculous. At 10:30pm on Sat. I had to drive to a garage just to buy airtime to send 2 flippant sms's which cost me 20 cents p/sms. I cannot understand how all of a sudden that the nr. I was sending the sms to, is now regarded as a special nr, and yet for the past 8 months this was not the case. Your service gets absolutely pathetic by the day. Loaded R10, 00 a/time, 40 cents went for 2 sms's, balance of R9, 60, I get up in the morning I am left with 60cents, please explain to me why was my airtime taken as well when I have 59.88 MB available.
