MTN... not so Direct!!!

I ordered a new Samsung Galaxy S4 from MTN Direct and received the phone from RTT couriers on 19th July 2013.
The "soft keys", menu and return button were not functioning. I was told to return the phone to an MTN service centre. I took the phone to MTN Richards Drive and they assessed the phone and found the soft keys to be not working and booked the phone in and said they would contact me later that day with a collection number. They called about 2 hours later and the collection number is COL 0031052560. They said that the phone was factory faulty and that i would need to call MTN Direct and quote the collection number and I would have a new phone delivered within 2 hours. Nothing happened!!

i have repeatedly called MTN Direct and they give me the run around. There is a lady at head office named Mamotse and she always "promises" to call back "within 2 minutes" or "by the end of the day the issue will be sorted". When you call MTN Direct in Durban they say they will forward a mail to her and "will definitely have the issue dealt with". There are records of this as MTN "records all calls".

I have not had a phone for over 2 weeks now.

Please resolve!!!
