Yet Another Vodacom / Rewards Co Complaint

I was contacted by a saleslady loads of times trying to sell me the vodacom top up contract. The 1st couple of times I said no, eventually I gave in and accepted as my sister was on her death bed at the time. However, I was not informed the service did not include BIS. I found out just over a week later. I called Vodacom, they informed me that I would need to re-activate the BIS Service and need to pay for it. I complained bitterly and told them to cancell the contract... how can they just disconnect the BIS when I paid in advance for the month. They then offered me 2 months free BIS service. In Jan I wanted to active my BIS, they informed I cant load it from avail airtime and I need to take a contract for the service. I told them to cancel the contract, they want a callection fee of over R1000 and told me to call the Rewards Co. I was not aware that it was not Vodacom that they sold me the contract. The lady at Rewards Co at first seemed helpful but then got very defensive. The amount of calls I get wanting to sell me add-ons from Vodacom is ridiculous they have no right to give my number out. I want the contract cancelled asap! Sad after being a client for soo many years!
