My contract with Vodacom ended in July. I ported my number across to MTN. I specially went into the Sandton City Vodacom branch where I took out my contract two years back and checked with the lady at the desk that I would not be charged any more charges by Vodacom as I belonged to a new network. I also wanted to confirm that I was not charged for BIS as I no longer used a Blackberry. I was told that since the number had been ported that Vodacom would not charge me anything going forward. I have been charged R203.50 today and I will pursue this as far as I have to go in order for my money to be returned to me.
