I have been complaining for months on end about MTN's poor network coverage.
I was told to phone their tech department from the area where the issue is experienced. However, when I am at the affected area, their techies have gone home hours ago.
Their coverage map states "3G/HSPA 42.2", but I only get Edge - that's five steps lower than promised.
I'm also experiencing poor coverage in a number of other areas, Ferndale and Fontainblauw to name only two.
There is a disclaimer on the map reading "map is only a guideline", yet, this guideline was what I was provided with to make "an informed decision" - who should be my service provider?
Avoid MTN at all cost:
1 - service
2 - complaints are 'circulated' in their internal processes
3 - promises to phone the customer never happen
4 - network coverage
5 - attitude of call centre agents
