About two months ago I received a call from someone claiming to work with virgin mobile. They said they simply needed to verify a couple of details and to sort out any problems I may have had.

Upon confirmation of my details, the gentleman who I spoke to, started telling me about the insurance that they offered. He told me he would send me all the paperwork that once filled in and sent back, would then make the insurance valid. Keep in mind that at no point during this conversation did I mention I would like this insurance.

Surely enough about two weeks later I notice my account had been debited for something I never even signed up for never mind even received the paperwork for.

Is Virgin Mobile really this greedy that they would out give contact details to a company working close to them even if they know that this is how their customers would be treated?

All of this would've been fine, but today was the last straw when I literally had to drive around in my car looking for signal so that I could do internet banking.

To people considering choosing them as their network provider, I think it's best to look else where.
